LG G Pad vs Google Nexus 7 (2013) --- The Second Round

The LG G Pad 8.3-inch tablet has been in wide rumors for a while . Seoul , Sep. 1, 2013 --- LG announced the impending arrival of its G Pad 8.3 tablet, which will officially launch at IFA 2013 this or next week . And some specifications of the G Pad showed up . We have compared LG G Pad with Google Nexus 7 (2013) on my previous blog . But the specifications of LG G Pad were incomplete and rumored at that time . Now we get many specs of LG G Pad from LG .It is time to show you the second battle between LG G Pad and Google Nexus 7 (2013).The detailed information is as tabled below.

From the table ,we can find that LG G Pad features Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Processor ,and not Snapdragon 800 in the rumor . The Operating System is Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 ,and not Android 4.3 .Now we get the official specifications from LG ,the real battle starts .

Size :

LG G Pad comes with 8.3-inch display which is a little bigger than our current popular tablet , Google Nexus 7 (2013) . But at the same 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution , 273 ppi of G Pad is slightly lower than the 323 ppi of Nexus 7 .LG G Pad measures at 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3 mm and Google Nexus 7 (2013) measures 200 x 114 x 8.65 mm . So G Pad is slightly thinner than Nexus 7 . But compared to the weight of Nexus 7 , 338 g G Pad is more heavier .

Processor :

LG G Pad features 1.7 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Processor .And Google Nexus 7 (2013) comes with 1.5 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Processor .Snapdragon 600 Pro is slightly newer than Snapdragon S4 Pro . According to Qualcomm ,a quad-core Snapdragon 600 uses Qualcomm's custom ARM-compatible Krait cores .And it delivers 40 percent better performance than a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Processor .

RAM and Storage :

Google Nexus 7(2013) is powered by 2 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of built-in memory.And LG G Pad features 2 GB of RAM with only 16 GB of built-in storage . 

Camera and OS:

Both of them have 5.0 MP rear camera .And 1.3 MP front camera of LG G Pad is a slightly better than the 1.2 MP front camera of Google Nexus 7(2013).Android Jelly Bean 4.3 is the latest OS today .Google Nexus 7(2013) runs Android Jelly Bean 4.3 as we expect . I am a little disappointed that LG G Pad features Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 .

LG G Pad has a 4600 mAh decent battery . About the battery I can't say which one is better due to LG G Pad has to run a bigger screen .There are still no news about the network connectivity and the price of LG G Pad at the moment .Which one is better ? The answer is weak before LG G Pad release and review .
