What should you do when you dropped your dear cellphone in water?

We always drop our cellphone into water due to what ever accident.Such as your phone slip out from your pocket when you squat near a river .Or you are jumping into a pool for fun but you find your phone in your pocket after did that ,and so on.For mostly cellphones ,you put them into water just like put the fish on the dry ground .Of course ,there are some waterproof cell phones but we do not talk about this type here.In fact, there are some steps to save your dear phone  when it was in water. First ,fish it out !Just a joke!

Firstly,take out the battery at once.This is the most important step.If your cell phone do not work,do not try to turn it on .Because did it, inner circuits of your phone will be damaged and it will  become more harder to fix it.

Secondly.Take off  your cell phone 's SIM card and Memory card . Then make them dry with a soft towel.

 Thirdly.Dry off your cell phone as soon as possible but reject to heat ! What this mean is  do not use  hairdryer,heat lighting,basking,even sunlight,which will effect the mini part of your smartphone , most serious is out of shape and melt . Compressed air is not a great idea ,it just push the water into the corner you can't touch .So the best way is to open up your cell phone then use a soft & small brush and a few of alcohol to brush the main board and connectors .

Fourthly. You need a desiccant such as silica gel and rice.Disassemble your cell phone into parts and keep them in the desiccant for at least a day.This will help to eliminate any water of your phone .
